Happening involving an overnight camp as a poetic form of politics. The participants camped in Father Collins Park, Balgriffin, where wind turbines and architectural landscaping create a kind of aesthetics of utopia. Meanwhile the surrounding estates are unfinished with hoarded up building sites opening out onto farm land. The park sits on the boundary line between Dublin city and Dublin county. It was hoped that through waking up in this seeming utopia, to return to the city and to the current state of things, those involved could see the city from a different perspective, as though waking up from a dream of the future.
